Dr. Nitin Jagasia, MBBS, MRCS [Edinburgh], FRCEM [London], is a Consultant, Emergency Medicine at Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai. Dr. Jagasia holds a Fellowship at the College of Emergency Medicine, London. He has more than 16 years of experience in Emergency Medicine. After completing his education in India, he went to England to undergo specialist training in Wessex Deanery

for Emergency Medicine. Post his training, Dr. Jagasia joined the Southampton General hospital, as Trauma & Governance Lead for ED and later University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, as the Consultant – Emergency Medicine. He has also served as Training Programme Director at the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. His areas of special interest lie in Major Trauma, Clinical Governance, Resuscitation Training [Adults & Children] and training the Emergency Medicine doctors with International protocols and benchmarks. Dr. Nitin Jagasia, is an avid contributor to the academic journals and has many publications to his credit. He is also a training enthusiast and has been actively involved.

Dr. Nirmalkumar Rakshe, a pioneer in establishing India's first 'Comprehensive Trauma System,' has successfully operated it for 17 years, rescuing over 160,000 trauma patients. He set up networks of 72 ambulances across Pune and Amritsar and created an emergency action plan for Uttarakhand. Following the Gujarat disaster, he treated over 2,000 patients, performing 82 surgeries in an ambulance-convertible operation theatre.

Dr. Rakshe's contributions span operations, innovation, training, and research, including leading EMS on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and expanding coverage from Pune to Pathankot, resulting in a network of 75 ambulances. His Road Accident Prevention Programme further underscores his dedication to road safety and accident prevention.
