With the advent of technology in every sector, it is predicted that artificial intelligence
(AI) will transform nursing across all domains of nursing practice, including
administration, clinical care, education, policy, and research. Increasingly, researchers
are exploring the potential influences of AI health technologies (AIHTs) on nursing in
general and nursing education more specifically. To lay emphasis on this field, the 1st
National Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Nursing Education & Practices was
organized in Bhilai, Durg. The theme of this year’s event was ‘Are We Ready?’.
Trupti Sahasraudhe, Director of Customer Delivery at NordicMojo, addressed the 500+
healthcare professionals attending the event. There she demonstrated NordicMojo’s flagship
VR platform, MediSimLab offering next-gen medical training and therapeutics through VR
technology.
There was a moment of extreme excitement when some members of the audience were invited on stage to experience MediSimLab’s immersive offering for training nurses. The lucky few who tried it couldn’t stop praising the ‘as good as real’ feel of the technology. “AI is evolving and is soon going to transform healthcare. Taking into account the potential of this technology for patient care and its impact on clinical providers, it is essential for nurses to adapt to these AI concepts,” said a healthcare professor who was attending the event.
